The health and well-being of our patrons and staff is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, in consultation with the Mendon Board of Health and the Town Administrator, the Taft Public Library will be closed to the public until further notice. All upcoming programs and events are suspended, and we will make every effort to reschedule them once we’ve reopened.
- Statewide delivery of books and library materials has been suspended.
- The book drop is closed, but all loan periods for materials will be extended and there will be no fines on materials currently checked out.
- All holds currently on the shelf will be kept until we reopen.
- Library card expiration dates have been extended.
