The Board of Trustees is working very hard on the St. Michael’s Project. We have acquired an architect and are working on schematic designs for how to use the church space and change it into a functioning library. Storytimes
Hopelessly devoted to Taft storytime? Well, we’re not ones to disappoint. For children 6 and under we’ll host storytimes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30am & 1pm on the following dates:
February 1st: From Pole to Pole: Penguin and Polar Bear Stories
February 7th & 8th: Have a Heart: Valentine’s Day Stories
February 21st & 22nd: Walk-in Craft: Learn how to make a Snowball Soap Surprise!
February 28th & 29th: Lizards at Large: Dinosaur Stories
Storytimes consist of picture book stories, action rhymes, a craft, and sometimes songs. No registration is required. There will be no storytimes the week of February 13th as the library is closed.
Stop by the Children’s Room to sign up for Lego Club ages 6-11 on Jan 3rd! Club will meet on Mondays! Group is limited to 15 children. For more details talk with Andrew, Children’s Librarian.

The Friends of the Taft Public Library will be having their annual Book Sale on Oct 8th! As always, the Friends would like to thank all who have donated or who plan to donate books for the sale!
“Two Old Friends” will perform for the third time in Mendon this Friday April 29th at 7:00 p.m. This is a library program hosted by the Mendon Council on Aging sponsored by the Mendon Cultural Council. No registration required.
